We kindly request that you read the following important terms and conditions before you buy/return anything from/to our site.

Return orExchange Form

1.0 Overview:

Prettyleghengas.com specialise in ethnic wear, including lehengas, sarees, sherwanis, traditional men’s and women’s garments and accessories. All garments and products are sourced directly from India and produced or procured only after the customer places an order.

Please note that most of our pieces are custom-made as per order basis. Once we receive your order, we send it to our suppliers for production. For this reason, we will not always be able to offer an exchange, cancellation or refund once the order is raised and production has started. We encourage you to be as sure as possible before placing your order and confirm style /measurements, etc, whilst placing the order.

1.1 Our Commitment to Delivering Excellent Customer Service.

We are grateful that you have visited our online store and appreciate all enquiries and all customers.

We aim to provide a service and product that goes beyond our customers’ expectations, and we think that communication may help to deliver this so If you do have any questions before your purchase, then we recommend that you contact us with your enquiry via the enquiry button (link here).

1.2 Product Descriptions & Quality

We work with manufacturers, wholesalers, and independent tailors and artisans in India and will try our best to get your order right the first time to avoid any disappointments. We have placed some controls with suppliers and tailors that we work with to fully check the outfit before it is dispatched to us for the customer, so that our clients can receive outfits/products sold by us with no defects and no disappointments.

We take pics/video of the garment before packaging for the customer.

Our product descriptions have been provided by the suppliers we work with, and we try to ensure the product description and specification are correct in the catalogue; however, specifications and details may change or vary.

Please Note:

  • Design, size and colours may vary slightly
  • Colours are not guaranteed
  • Garments are strictly DRY CLEAN only.
  • Colours may run
  • Etc

2.0 Custom-made/made-to-measure and altered Garments

Made-to-order, tailored, custom-made products will NOT qualify for a refund
We do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations for custom orders once confirmed.
Custom or made-to-measure outfits are non-refundable unless there is a fault or error on our part. We will work with you to rectify any issues.

  • Customers must ensure that all submitted measurements and specifications are accurate.
  • If there is a fault in craftsmanship or the sizing significantly differs from your confirmed measurements, then please contact us within 3 days of delivery to discuss possible solutions.
  • Remakes and Alterations may be offered at a charge if incorrect information was provided.

3.0 Ready-to-Wear Items

We prioritise client satisfaction.
If the items are listed as ready to wear /ready stitched, then UK customers have the right to cancel or return the item within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
We accept the returns for eligible ready-to-wear items that have not been modified or stitched under the following conditions:

Please Note: We are unable to accept returns if the item has been used, damaged, stained or shows signs of wear.

Return items must be:

  • Unused and unworn
  • With all original packaging and tags  attached and returned in the original packaging.
  • Return Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
  • not personalised any further (i.e., blouse tailoring/alterations) in any way.

We take pics/video of the product at the time of packaging.

Due to hygiene reasons, no refunds/returns will be accepted on jewellery, undergarments, beauty products, and some clothing products where hygiene could be an issue. For example: lehenga blouses and saree blouses, which have been tried on and where there are sweat stains or odour left after trying the product.

4.0 Faulty or incorrect items

If you do receive an outfit with defects/damage, then this is to be communicated within 48 hours of delivery with images and description of the fault to info@prettylehengas.com

Please add the subject heading on the email ‘Returns’ with the following information in your communication to us;

  • Order number
  • Photos of the item and packaging
  • Description of the issue

Once the piece to be returned is received, we will study and inspect the need for your return or exchange. We will investigate and offer a suitable resolution (repair, replacement, or refund). We will provide you with information on where to return the goods and how to complete the return process, subject to the below.

  • All labels and tags are intact.
  • Subject to the outfit being unworn and unused.
  • Unwashed.

5.0 International Orders

We accept international orders. And are proud to serve customers worldwide. However, due to the nature of our business and international logistics, our returns and refund policies differ for customers outside the UK.

5.1 Custom & Made-To-Order garments – International returns

All custom-made and made-to-order garments (including lehengas, sarees, Blouses, sherwanis, or any customised sizing or colour) They are non-refundable and non-returnable unless

  • The item is faulty
  • The item arrives damaged
  • The item is significantly not as described

We do not accept returns: For reasons such as change of mind, incorrect measurements provided by the customer, or dissatisfaction with fabric or colour, where specifications are met.

5.2 Ready to wear – International returns

We may accept returns of non-customised ready-to-wear garments for international customers if requested within 7 days of delivery, subject to the following.

  • Return shipping fees and any applicable customs/duties are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Items must be unworn, unused and returned in original condition with all packaging and tags.
  • Items must be CLEARLY marked as ‘RETURNED MERCHANDISE ‘on customs forms to avoid delays or additional fees.
  • It must not be a seasonal product – eg, Garba Chanya Choli, wedding clothes outside the UK summer wedding season, fast fashion.

Please note: A restocking fee of 20% may apply to international returns for eligible returns of ready-to-wear garments.

Why a 20% restocking fee?

As a micro business with no storage or resale facilities, returns incur significant costs. This helps us cover upfront supplier payments, international shipping, import duties, to cover handling, quality control checks and administration costs and any other unrecoverable costs. We operate without a retail outlet or warehouse space and take into consideration out-of-season stock handling. We operate in the fashion business, which changes quickly. We appreciate your understanding in supporting a small global brand that works closely with independent artisans and suppliers abroad.

These fees apply to the below.

  • Non-faulty items
  • Ready-to-wear items (not custom-made).

We reserve the right to decline discretionary international returns.

5.3 Consumer Law Notice

We comply with applicable UK consumer protection laws. For international orders, we will also comply with mandatory local consumer rights where required (eg, EU 14-day right to cancel). However, for discretionary or voluntary returns, our terms as set out above will apply.

6. How to start a Refund / Return or Complain.

To start a return or raise an issue, contact us within the return window by emailing us at info@prettylehengas.com
Include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos (if applicable)
  • A brief description of your concern

7. Return Shipping & Refund

  • All returns must be paid for by the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
  • We recommend using a tracked service as we are not liable for items lost in return transit.
  • For approved refunds, we will pay it to the same account you used to purchase the goods. This is Subject to the outfit being unused, unwashed, and all the tags intact at the time of receiving the goods.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
  • The refund for any item will be subject to the approval of our inspection team and at the discretion of Prettylehengas.com.

8. Exemptions & Non-refundable Items

  • Custom-made garments (unless faulty)
  • Garments altered to customer specifications
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Items returned after the allowed timeframe, 14 days in the UK.
  • International returns may incur a 20% restocking fee.

Prettylehengas.com doesn’t take title to any returned items purchased from elsewhere, and the item must be received by Prettylehengas.com

9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. All disputes are subject to UK jurisdiction.
